    Published on:

Alpha Drafts, High Seas Pirates, and the Return to Aotearoa—2025 is Looking Stacked for FaB

The World Tour: London weekend opened with a bang as James White, the creator of Flesh and Blood, took the stage for a keynote packed with surprises. From once-in-a-lifetime draft experiences to game-changing new products, the announcements sent audible gasps through the crowd. If you missed the presentation, here’s the full breakdown of what’s coming.

The World Tour Returns Home: Auckland Gets a Double Calling Weekend

FaB is headed back to where it all began—Aotearoa. From August 8 to 10, Auckland will host two Calling events, one of which will feature Welcome to Rathe Alpha edition booster drafts on Day 2. Yes, Alpha packs—sealed and playable—are coming back to the table, giving players a shot at cracking legendary cards that haven’t been seen in years.

On top of that, there will be an Arcane Rising Battle Hardened with a Top 8 1st Edition booster draft. These aren’t just events—they’re collectors’ dreams wrapped in competitive nostalgia.

Early bird ticket holders who purchase Fabled or Go Again packages by May 16 will even get the chance to win a tour of Legend Story Studios.

    Pro Tour: Singapore Sets Sail

It’s time to pack your flip-flops—Pro Tour: Singapore is locked in for July 17 to 20, with Pro Quest qualifiers running from April 19 to May 18. Tickets officially go on sale on April 11 at 2:00 PM SGT, and Flesh and Blood fans can expect exclusive promos and top-tier play in one of Asia’s most iconic destinations.

Maxx Nitro and Ira Lead New Armory Deck Wave

Two new Armory Decks were announced:

Maxx Nitro (releases April 17) is built around Hyper Drivers, Wrenches, and high-octane gear from Metrix. This deck is ready to crank the tempo and cash in.

Ira (releases July 11) brings the game’s OG Ninja into Classic Constructed with a full Armory Deck that helps newer players make the leap from Welcome Decks to real events.

    Convention-Exclusive: Armory Deck – Legends

For the first time, Viserai and Prism will headline Living Legend format Armory Decks. These will debut as convention exclusives at San Diego Comic-Con (July 24–27) and Gen Con (July 31–August 3). Expect core reprints, high-value nostalgia, and Cold Foil headpieces tucked into GEM Pack 3.

Mastery Pack: Guardian – Seismic Shifts

Launching August 8, Mastery Pack: Guardian is a 130-card supplemental set designed to supercharge the Guardian class. It introduces a glow-up for a fan-favorite young hero from Crucible of War and explores ancient lore tied to Volcor, Solana, and Aria through the energy of Seismic Surges and Old Ones.

Smash Palace – The Ultimate Pit Fight Party

Also releasing with Mastery Pack is Smash Palace, a multiplayer box set that introduces seven new Pit-Fighter heroes exclusive to Ultimate Pit Fight. It includes an Event Deck mechanic that adds wild, random effects at the start of every turn—perfect for casual chaos and social nights.

And for newcomers? A brand-new Welcome Deck: Bravo is arriving alongside these sets to introduce players to the game with a heavy-hitting classic hero.

High Seas – Pirates, Tapping, and Treasure Packs

The most buzzed-about reveal? The new High Seas expansion.

This pirate-themed set introduces the “tapping” mechanic, giving cards a rest-and-ready rhythm that expands gameplay depth. A cast of colorful new heroes brings fresh mechanics and wild flavor.

Marlynn, Treasure Hunter is a Pirate Ranger who uses gold to grab her harpoons and hunt for big game.

Puffin, Hightail is a flying Mechanologist who cranks Golden Cogs into sky-fueled chaos.

Gravy Bones is a Pirate Necromancer who raises his sunken crew. He’ll even have his own Armory Deck with exclusive cards like Sawbones, Dockhand.

Each High Seas display comes with a Treasure Pack containing one Map Slot (collect all 9 map fragments), one Gold Slot (like Gold, Goldkiss Rum, Golden Cogs), and one Treasure Slot with Cold Foil commons, Booty cards, Marvels, Legendaries, and rare “Lost Treasures.”

But the real jaw-dropper? Hidden among them are ultra-rare hand-signed Cold Foils from James White’s personal collection—including, yes, a signed Welcome to Rathe Alpha Print Heart of Fyendal.

2025 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years Flesh and Blood has ever seen. From Alpha drafts to high seas adventures, multiplayer madness, and collectible grails, the roadmap is packed with something for every kind of player!
