Little Nightmares III Drops This October And the Franchise Is Expanding Beyond the Game

    Published on:

Get ready to dive back into the eerie and surreal world of Little Nightmares. Bandai Namco has officially announced that Little Nightmares III is launching on October 10, 2025 for PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The new trailer gives us a closer look at a new area called the Carnevale—a creepy, decaying funfair where our two protagonists, Low and Alone, continue their desperate escape from a twisted dimension known as the Spiral.

This installment is being developed by Supermassive Games, known for their atmospheric storytelling, and things are shaping up to be more unsettling (and exciting) than ever.

What’s New in Little Nightmares III?

Low and Alone are this game’s co-op-ready protagonists, navigating a world full of nightmares and delusions. While previous titles emphasized solitary fear, Little Nightmares III offers a journey that can be tackled together—either with a friend or AI partner.

The Carnevale map showcased in the trailer sets the tone: grimy, stylized, and packed with disturbing yet fascinating visuals. You’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for the bizarre characters and eerie environmental storytelling that’s defined the franchise.

The World of Little Nightmares Keeps Growing
