Over 60 players from the Philippines have flown to Singapore to compete in one of the biggest events in the global Flesh and Blood TCG scene: Pro Tour Singapore 2025. It’s a massive showing from the local community, proving just how far the game has come in the country.
As Carlo Ople—who Top 4’d at this year’s Philippine Nationals—puts it:
“Play the game, see the world! 60+ contingent from the Philippines here in Singapore for the Flesh and Blood TCG Pro Tour!!! $175,000 USD on the line for the main event. Tournament starts tomorrow. Wish Team PH good luck! Kalaban namin the very best the world has to offer in our favorite TCG!”
Among the Filipino competitors are National Champion Joniel Ibasco, Calling Taipei winner and former champ Justin Cu, and an all-star lineup of past and present National Top 8 players, including Malon Ilagan, Nath Bea, Jaime Manzano, Alex Sy, Edric Ramos, and more. Local scene regulars and powerhouses like Andre See, Richard Tan, Gray Luiz, Rod Waje Jr., Michael Villano, Jian Botor, and Myles Lim round out an incredibly deep roster of players from all across the country who flew to the Lion City to compete.
Pro Tour Singapore Weekend features three major tournaments: the invite-only $175,000 Pro Tour, the open $35,000 Calling, and the $2,000 Battle Hardened using the Living Legend format. All of these are surrounded by side events and community meetups running throughout the week.
After Singapore, Manila itself will also play host to a Battle Hardened Tournament later in September.
