The Honor of Kings esports scene is about to reach a whole new level of intensity. With international leagues starting this September and the Brazil Championship already underway, all eyes are on which teams will secure the coveted 16 slots at the Honor of Kings International Championship (KIC) later this year.
Two Leagues, One Global Stage
The spotlight now shifts to the Honor of Kings Major East League (KME) and Major West League (KMW), which kick off on September 11 and 12. These tournaments bring together 14 elite teams from across the world, each vying for glory, pride, and a direct path to KIC.

In the East League, fans will see powerhouse names like Nongshim RedForce (South Korea), Crazy Raccoon (Japan), Gen.G Esports (MENA), R8 Esports (MENA), SCARZ (Japan), CMF Esports (South Asia), and Astar Esports (MENA).

Meanwhile, the West League features OG Esports (Western Europe), 9z Globant (Latin America), Boars Gaming (Eastern Europe), BloodThirstyKings (North America), AYLO Gaming (Latin America), Twisted Mind (Western Europe), and Level Max Club (North America).
Format and Road to KIC
The Major Leagues run in a three-week format designed to test resilience and adaptability:

- Week 1: Group Stage – Ranking Week
Single Round Robin (BO3), where top three teams advance to Group S while the bottom four head to Group A. - Week 2: Group Stage – Survival Week
Double Round Robin (BO5), with rankings determining entry to the Knockout Stage. - Week 3: Knockout Stage & Last Call
Double Elimination (BO5), with a BO7 Final. The second-place teams from KMW and KME will also face the Wildcard Kings Series (WKS) champion for one last KIC slot.
With $50,000 prize pools for both KME and KMW, and KIC slots on the line, every match is a high-stakes battle.
Brazil Championship Adds More Firepower
Running from September 5 to 28 in São Paulo, the Honor of Kings Brazil Championship (CHOKBR) adds another layer of excitement. Eight teams are competing for $22,000 and two slots at KIC.

Invited squads include Loops, Alpha 7, Influence Rage, and Lobos Famintos, joined by qualifier teams Sdds Jamisa, Carteira de Trabalho Digital, Domingo a Noite Inova, and yuStar.
The format begins with an eight-team group stage (BO3, Round Robin), narrowing down to six playoff contenders. The playoffs feature single elimination in the first Play-In round, followed by double elimination. All matches are BO5, with the Grand Final played as BO7.
The Road Ahead
With regional leagues in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and now the East, West, and Brazil competitions, the global Honor of Kings community is witnessing a true esports spectacle.
