Cartoon Network has played a huge role in our childhood. However, all good things must come to an end.

Rebranding to Dutch Wonderland Inn
The Cartoon Network-themed hotel in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is closing down for good. That means no Finn and Jake, Steven Universe, nor Ben 10 is welcoming you at the door. It will undergo major rebranding following the theme park beside the hotel’s location – Dutch Wonderland Inn.

However, being close to a theme park is not the main reason for the shutdown. Apparently, many Cartoon Network characters weren’t renewed, and the licensing deal for Cartoon Network themes fell through.
Before we say goodbye, let us revisit the iconic spots and features that made unforgettable memories for families and children.
How it Looked Inside
Hotel goers are welcomed by the giant Finn and Jake statue, which is definitely a hot photo spot for Adventure Time fans. Jake is wrapped around the building while Jake casually sits beside him.

It is not every day you get to sleep on a Steven Universe themed bed and wake up to see beautiful wall murals. From the doodles, pillows down to the accessories, you are immersed in the universe of your favorite Cartoon Network show.

What’s the best way of eating food that exists in the Cartoon Network universe? Watching the episode as you cherish every bite. A television displays selected episodes and you can choose your seats as to what kind of show you’re in the mood for with friends and family

Finally, playing time! Arcade is where the children immediately goes and all the arcade game machines are present in Cartoon Network. There is a VR game playthrough and arcade game machines, providing entertainment for both adults and kids.

What’s Next for the Hotel?
All Cartoon Network themes and characters will be completely removed and replaced by The Dutch Wonderland names and characters. All major rebranding shall be finished by next spring 2026. Newly improved restaurant with a curated menu is underway.

Though the Cartoon Network closure reminds us that we’re truly getting older, we can always remember them by reading our editorials and articles.
