Bandai Namco Is Bringing Bonus Level to Manila And It’s Stacked with Games, Guests, and Giveaways

    Published on:

If you’re a fan of Bandai Namco games, you’ll want to clear your schedule this July. The publisher is hosting Bonus Level, a free three-day event at SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall, packed with playable game demos, exclusive merch, and guest appearances from familiar faces in the local gaming scene.

From July 4 to 6 (Friday to Sunday), attendees can check out upcoming titles, enjoy themed photo ops, and even walk away with limited-edition goodies, while supplies last.

    What You Can Play

One of the big highlights is TEKKEN 8, which will showcase its new Season 2 DLC character, Anna Williams. Fans of the franchise can finally try out her character demo and see what changes are coming to the Mishima family feud.

There’s also Shadow Labyrinth, a surprise twist on the PAC-MAN universe that trades pellets for swords. It’s a 2D action platformer where you play as Swordsman No. 8, guided by PUCK (a mysterious floating yellow orb), on a journey through forgotten battlefields and strange relics.

And for those who love eerie storytelling, Little Nightmares III will also have a playable demo. The third entry in the series lets you play co-op—either with a friend or an AI partner—as Low and Alone try to escape the terrifying Spiral.

Get the Free Stuff (While You Can)

By checking out the game demos or participating in activities, you’ll be able to score event-exclusive merch like a TEKKEN 8 temporary tattoo, a Shadow Labyrinth canvas tote, and Little Nightmares III collectible badges. These are first-come, first-served, so early birds get the good stuff.

Meet the Guests at Bonus Level

Popular creators will also be joining the event each day as part of the “Bandai Barkada” hangouts. It’s a casual, content-friendly walkaround where fans can interact with their favorite creators while exploring the games on display.

    Here’s the full guest lineup:

    Friday, July 4

    • Katie Cakey: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
    • Kitz Cua: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

    Saturday, July 5

    • Zackt: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
    • Roxanne Kho: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

    Sunday, July 6

    • Hikaru Wakano: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
    • KingFB (Royce): 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

If you’re planning to meet someone specific, keep an eye on their socials—there may be special activities or fan meet-ups you won’t want to miss.

Bonus Level feels like a love letter to local fans who’ve been following Bandai Namco titles through thick and thin. With a solid mix of hype reveals, interactive stations, and genuine community energy, it’s shaping up to be one of the more exciting gaming weekends in Metro Manila this year.
