A new challenger approaches—and this one’s bringing the heat. Honor of Kings, the world’s most-played mobile MOBA, just got a major power-up with the official arrival of BTK (Blood Thirsty Kings) to the competitive scene. One of North America’s most iconic mobile esports teams, BTK is now gearing up to make their mark on this growing global title, and fans from all corners of the world are ready to rally behind them.

This move aligns perfectly with Honor of Kings’ mission to cultivate a more diverse, inclusive, and international competitive ecosystem—one that goes beyond regions and brings players together through skill, strategy, and a love for the game.

A Superteam Built for Global Play

The BTK roster reads like an all-star lineup. Led by captain Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun, the team includes some of the most recognizable names in North American mobile esports: Ian “FwydChickn” Hohl, Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun, Ziameth-Jei “ZIA” Caluya, Vo “Shark” Trung, and Carlos “Bestplayer1” Ortega Vega. Together, they’re ready to bring their synergy and relentless energy to a new battlefield.

Some players had already been exploring Honor of Kings through streams and casual play, getting a taste of what makes the game tick. Now, they’re stepping into official matches with one goal: to climb to the top of a brand-new competitive mountain.

“I think Honor of Kings is a really unique game with a lot of depth and a refreshing style of play,” shared MobaZane. “The team’s been grinding hard, learning fast, and we’re all committed to representing our communities on the global stage.”

Setting the Stage for the Future

The Honor of Kings esports community continues to evolve, and the addition of BTK shows how fast the competitive landscape is heating up. Just recently, news broke of a mobile MOBA “dream team” forming to take on the Honor of Kings stage as well—further proof that the game is quickly becoming the new proving ground for high-level talent.

“We’re excited to welcome BTK to Honor of Kings,” said James Yang, Senior Director of the Global Esports Center at Tencent Games’ Level Infinite. “They’re bringing years of competitive experience with them, and we hope their presence will inspire even more players to chase their esports dreams.”

The Gorge Just Got More Dangerous

With BTK now officially part of the Honor of Kings ecosystem, the global scene is about to get even more intense. Fans can look forward to epic clashes, incredible plays, and the rise of new rivalries as BTK takes their first steps into this bold new arena.

Get ready—The Gorge is calling, and BTK has answered.
