Exciting news once again from Bandai Namco! Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is excited to announce its participation as an exhibitor at one of Southeast Asia’s premier events celebrating Japanese pop culture: Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2025.
From Friday, June 6 to Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Jakarta Convention Center, the event runs daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to prepare for an action-packed weekend of anime, manga, and gaming.
The company’s booth will be located in Hall A, Booth B13, where visitors can experience exclusive game demos debuting in Indonesia, including Shadow Labyrinth, Little Nightmares III, and Tamagotchi Plaza. Fans can also capture memorable moments with photo opportunities featuring the upcoming title Digimon Story: Time Stranger—creating perfect keepsakes of their festival experience.
Games To Look Out For
Shadow Labyrinth is a 2D action platformer offering a fresh, genre-bending twist on the classic PAC-MAN. Players take on the role of Swordsman No. 8, awakened by a mysterious floating yellow orb, PUCK, on an ancient, war-torn planet. Chosen to serve the orb’s purpose, players will navigate this enigmatic setting with visceral combat and exploration.
In Little Nightmares III, the story follows Low and Alone as they search for an escape from “Nowhere.” Trapped within the unsettling Spiral, a collection of eerie locales, their survival depends on teamwork as they face illusions and an ominous threat lurking nearby, promising a harrowing adventure into the unknown.
Tamagotchi Plaza, the latest addition to the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series first launched in 2005, is making its debut on Nintendo Switch™. This game features 12 unique shops, where players can serve special Tamagotchi visitors and build their reputation by processing orders and managing their shopfronts.
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is an immersive RPG combining monster-taming gameplay with a compelling narrative that explores the bond between humans and Digimon. Journey through both the human world and the Digital World, raising and collecting a variety of Digimon to battle in strategic turn-based encounters and uncover the mysteries behind the world’s downfall.
Festival attendees who participate in demos and booth activities will receive exclusive freebies, including a Shadow Labyrinth tote bag, Little Nightmares III sticker sheet, Tamagotchi Plaza acrylic keychain, and more. So be sure to check these out at Anime Festival Asia Indonesia.
Special Guest Appearances!
Celebrity cosplayers will also be present throughout the event, hosting fan meet-and-greets at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia booth from 14:30 to 15:00 each day. Don’t miss your chance to meet your favorite personalities and take photos in your favorite cosplay looks.
