During X4U: Amped Up Life with the Power of X at Trinoma, the company introduced upgraded plans built for homes that stream, work, and play nonstop. The Super FiberX launch was part of the three-day XLounge MNL event, which featured games, performances, and exclusive subscriber perks.
Super FiberX Ultra Gets a Big Boost
The highlight of the night was the new Super FiberX Ultra, now Converge’s most affordable 1 Gbps plan. It used to peak at 800 Mbps. This upgrade pushes speeds up to a full Gigabit without raising the monthly fee.
For P2,599 per month, households can now run heavy downloads, 4K streaming, online meetings, and smart homes all at the same time.
Converge says Ultra is built for families with many devices online throughout the day.
Super FiberX Prime Offers High Speed at a Lower Price
Converge also launched Super FiberX Prime, a new option for users who want fast speeds at a more practical rate.
Prime delivers up to 800 Mbps for P2,099 per month, expanding the FiberX family and giving subscribers more flexibility across price points.
It is designed for homes that want reliable speed for work, school, and entertainment without jumping into gigabit territory.
A New Plan Designed for Gamers
Another standout announcement was GameChanger EZ, the company’s most affordable pure-fiber plan built for gamers. It offers up to 400 Mbps for P1,800 per month and includes network gaming prioritization, a proprietary feature that boosts gaming traffic across the network.
This prioritization helps reduce latency, jitter, and packet loss. It is a feature not commonly found in plans at this price range.
GameChanger Ambassador Myrtle Sarrosa, also known in the cosplay and streaming community, spoke about why the new EZ plan fits the needs of competitive and casual players alike.
