Flesh and Blood’s Skirmish Season 13 Marks the Final Set of Blitz Tournaments

    Published on:

The fast-paced, hero-driven format that brought countless players into Flesh and Blood organized play is about to take its final bow. Skirmish Season 13, running from November 29 to December 14, will officially be the last Skirmish season to feature Blitz as its headlining format.

For fans of the format’s quick tempo and explosive turns, this is the time to gather your favorite deck, head to your local game store, and give Blitz the send-off it deserves.

    Blitz Takes Its Final Bow

After this season, Blitz will retire from organized play at the Skirmish level and above. However, players can rest easy knowing that the format will still live on through Blitz Armory Events and Blitz On Demand sessions at local stores.

These smaller, community-driven events ensure that Blitz won’t disappear entirely — it’ll just shift focus toward a more casual, inclusive space where both veterans and newcomers can continue to enjoy it.

    Skirmish Season 13

Skirmish has always been about bridging the gap between casual and competitive play, and this season feels especially significant. It’s a celebration of what Blitz brought to the community: a format that made it easy to jump in, play fast, and learn the fundamentals of Flesh and Blood without needing a massive card pool.

Season 13 continues that tradition, offering new Cold Foil prize cards, low-stakes yet exciting competition, and the chance to play face-to-face with other heroes one last time before the format takes its final curtain call.

    A Farewell Worth Remembering

More information about prizes, event listings, and participating stores will be revealed in the coming weeks, but one thing’s already certain: this Skirmish season will be a landmark moment for Flesh and Blood.

So make this final run count. It’s the perfect time to celebrate what Blitz stood for: fast games, explosive plays, and the friendships built along the way.
