Horror Meets Heroics
The crossover drops players into a haunted mansion straight out of Resident Evil, complete with eerie lighting, hidden references, and even a flashlight mechanic that shrinks your world down to whatever’s in front of you. It’s survival horror spliced into a sci-fi shooter — a mashup so strange it just clicks.
Ada, Jill, and Claire Take the Field
The collab introduces three iconic survivors, now reimagined as NIKKEs ready for battle:
- SSR Ada Wong – Mysterious and lethal, Ada arrives with a Burst III kit built for devastating damage (available now).
- SSR Jill Valentine – Raccoon City’s “super cop” makes her NIKKE debut on October 2, bringing piercing ammo that shreds through defenses.
- SR Claire Redfield – The heart of the trio, she heals and removes debuffs with her herb-mixing skills, balancing the team with support.
Each character still feels true to their Resident Evil roots while sliding seamlessly into NIKKE’s flashy, anime-styled world.
Costumes, Rewards, and Mini-Games
Fans can unlock Ada’s “DRESS” and Jill’s “BATTLE SUIT”, alongside free collab costumes tied to recruitment and missions. On top of that, the event adds a mini-game called SALVATION BREAKERS, where players juggle inventory management while fending off Rapture swarms — a clear wink to RE’s resource survival systems.
Why This Works
On one side, you have NIKKE’s futuristic battles, larger-than-life designs, and kinetic gunplay. On the other, the grounded tension of Resident Evil. Put them together, and you get a crossover that feels both familiar and fresh: action with just enough horror to give it bite, and horror with just enough spectacle to keep it fun.
