Orange Cap Games just announced the Organized Play Structure for their hit game, Vibes TCG. The wonderfully fun TCG based on the Pudgy Penguins IP. That’s right, it’s time to flop and slide your way to victory in regulated competitions with huge prizes. While everything outlined on their website is subject to change, this should help players plan and prep for the upcoming competitive season!
Huge Prizes

The Vibes online competitive play is powered by PENGU for this season. Starting with playmats, players can earn a ton of exclusive rewards alongside cash prizes. Prizes like:
- Limited Edition Cards
- Playmats
- Uncut Sheets
They mentioned that more prizes and rewards will be added as the game economy expands!
Cool Competitions
OCG will be hosting three Zonal Championships (IRL Card tournaments) across three main regions. These tournaments will happen in America, Asia, and Europe. As of right now, only the Americas Championship details are available, but watch this space for updates!

Date & Location: May 18th, Connecticut

Aside from the chance to earn amazing prizes, the top competitors will earn the chance to compete in the World Championship! Here are the qualifications.
Qualification to World Championships

- The Top 8 finishers from each Zonal Championship qualify for the World Championships.
- If there is no clean Top 8 cut, tie-breakers will not be used; instead, additional games will determine top 8 placements.
- Each Zonal Champion receives a bye at Worlds.
- Pro Points are awarded to all participants based on final placement. The top finisher receives 100 pro points and there is a linear decrease to 1 pro point for the last place finisher in a stepwise fashion (ex if there is 100 players, 1st: 100, 2nd: 99, 3rd: 98 … 99th: 2, 100th: 1).
Online Ranked Seasons
Aside from the Zonal Championships, Vibes will have four online ranked seasons. Each one eventually leading to the World Championship. These are the schedules for the four seasons.
Season 0 – Ends February 21, 2025
Rewards are powered by PENGU, in order to receive your rewards, you will need to connect either a Sol wallet or an Abstract Global Wallet to your account in the account page on the vibes.game website. Players in Dummy Thicc at the end of that season get that season’s exclusive Dummy Thicc Playmat.

Season 1 – Ends May 21, 2025
Season 2 – Ends August 21, 2025
Season 3 – Ends November 10, 2025
Like the Zonal Championships, the top finishers at the end of each season will earn a spot in the World Championships. The Top 8 finishers from each Vibes Online season qualify for Worlds. If a qualified player repeats, their spot passes to the next highest-ranked player.
Each Season Champion receives a bye at Worlds. Additionally, Pro Points are awarded to all “Dummy Thicc” ranked players in descending order based on their placement. The top finisher receives 100 pro points and there is a linear decrease to 1 pro point for the last place finisher in a stepwise fashion (ex if there is 100 players, 1st: 100, 2nd: 99, 3rd: 98 … 99th: 2, 100th: 1).
Pro Points
Now that we’ve mentioned Pro Points, here’s what they’re for. Players have seven opportunities to earn Pro Points (4 Online Seasons and 3 Zonal Championships). Keep in mind, only the each player’s top 3 performances count towards their final standing. If you weren’t able to qualify for the World Championship via winning or topping the season, players with the highest accumulated Pro Points will earn an invite. The Top 16 non-qualified players will receive and invite to the World Championship. On top of that, the top 4 will receive an additional bye.

Wildcard Spots
If you didn’t qualify from the previous methods, don’t worry! Up to 8 wildcard spots for World Championships will be granted at the discretion of Orange Cap Games. These spots could go to:
- Prominent community members
- Pro players from other games
- Celebrities
- Players with remarkable performance (e.g., finishing 9th in every season)
Important: Cyber begging for wildcard spots will not be entertained. The only certain way to make sure that we do not pick you for the wildcard spot is to annoy us about it.
There will also be a Last Chance Qualifier tournament hosted before Worlds Takes place in December!
The Vibes 2025 World Championships
World Championships will take place in December at the Barron’s Ice Castle.
More details soon, prize support for the event as well as qualifying events should cover travel and lodging for World Championships for all who qualify. In addition card availability will not be a constraint for players at worlds, even if you qualify digitally, and don’t own physical cards.
So there you have it! 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting Vibes year for players. Be sure to check the Vibes Website for more details.
