One classroom, one big step toward the future. That’s what Xiaomi Philippines aimed for as they returned to support Brigada Eskwela 2025, this time outfitting a public school in Malabon with smart AIoT devices to create a better space for learning.
Smarter Learning Begins with the Right Tools

Brigada Eskwela, the Department of Education’s yearly community-driven cleanup and repair initiative, has always been about preparing public schools for the incoming academic year. But Xiaomi is taking it a step further. For the second year in a row, the tech brand—alongside World Vision—joined forces with faculty and volunteers to not only fix up school facilities, but also to introduce a modern, tech-enhanced “Xiaomi-Powered Room.”
Inside this classroom, students now have access to an array of Xiaomi smart devices including smart TVs, air purifiers, fans, mesh Wi-Fi systems, smart cameras, projectors, and even a smart vacuum—designed to elevate the day-to-day classroom experience.
Bayanihan Meets Innovation

The spirit of bayanihan was in full display, with Xiaomi employees (including expats), World Vision staff, and school faculty working together to repaint, clean, and prepare classrooms in time for opening day. It wasn’t just a donation drop-off—it was a full day of hands-on involvement, capped off by the official unveiling of the Xiaomi-powered classroom.
Students also received backpacks filled with essentials to help them start their school year strong.
A Partnership Rooted in Purpose

For school head Nenita Rivera, the effort means more than just updated tools:
“It always needs a village to educate a child. This help and assistance will be very beneficial for our teachers and students.”
Xiaomi’s head of marketing, Tomi Adrias, echoed this sentiment:
“May our support and donation in this year’s Brigada Eskwela serve both students and teachers in their immediate learning and teaching needs. At Xiaomi, we are committed to making our technology accessible to everyone.”
Alma Acub of World Vision also shared her gratitude:
“We cannot do it alone. This type of partnership will really help our students improve their learning experiences.”
A Brighter Future, One Room at a Time

As Xiaomi continues its annual Brigada Eskwela efforts, the brand proves that technology can do more than entertain or connect—it can also uplift, empower, and inspire. The newly minted Xiaomi-Powered Room is more than just a tech showcase—it’s a glimpse of what’s possible when private companies invest in public education with sincerity and purpose.
