Xiaomi Unveils Fresh Lineup: YU7, MIX Flip 2, Pad 7S Pro, and Smarter AIoT for Daily Life

    Published on:

The latest Xiaomi event in Beijing brought a wave of new devices under the theme “New Beginnings”, and the lineup definitely lives up to it. From foldables and tablets to wearables and AI-powered accessories, Xiaomi’s ecosystem is growing in ways that blend everyday convenience with cutting-edge design.

Here’s a look at what stood out.

The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 — A Foldable That Feels Familiar Yet Fresh

Foldables keep evolving, and the MIX Flip 2 is Xiaomi’s most refined take so far. It runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, packs a sizable 5165mAh battery which is rare for clamshell foldables, and has Leica-tuned cameras for more serious photography. If you’re into mobile shooting, the Light Fusion 800 sensor and Summilux lens setup might be a treat.

On the outside, the 3.5-inch cover display is more than just a glance screen. It now supports over 500 apps and even features interactive AI pets that animate based on touch and charging. You can upload a pet photo and have the system generate a personalized lock screen version using AI. That brings some real Tamagotchi energy.

It’s light at 199g, slim at 7.57mm when unfolded, and comes in four core color options plus a flashy Checkered Gold. Storage ranges from 256GB to 1TB, with pricing starting at 5,999 RMB.

Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro 12.5 — Serious Power in a Slim Frame

Xiaomi’s new flagship tablet isn’t messing around. Powered by their first self-developed 3nm processor, the XRING O1, the Pad 7S Pro promises top-tier performance while keeping things lightweight at just 5.8mm thin and 576g.

It features a 3.2K LCD display that peaks at 1000 nits, has TÜV Rheinland eye comfort certifications, and supports color calibration across Xiaomi devices. Under the hood is HyperOS 2 with a full suite of productivity features: AI writing, AI art tools, a dedicated Workstation Mode, and smart battery features that learn your habits.

Battery life is also impressive. A 10,610mAh cell supports 120W fast charging and even reverse charging for smaller gadgets. It supports Wi-Fi 7 and has a full range of optional accessories like the Xiaomi Focus Pen and two keyboard types. The Matte Glass version starts at 4,099 RMB.

AI Glasses and Wearables that Do More Than Track Steps

Xiaomi also introduced its new line of wearable tech, and the AI Glasses were a clear highlight. They’re lightweight at just 40g, built with a titanium alloy frame, and offer real-time translation, livestreaming, and first-person video capture. The dual-chip setup, one powered by Snapdragon AR1 and the other by Xiaomi’s in-house low-power chip, means these glasses are built for more than novelty.

You can use them for meetings with live transcription, get smart summaries, and even identify objects or calculate calories using the onboard AI. Starting at 1,999 RMB, it’s a compact AI assistant you wear on your face.

Meanwhile, the Smart Band 10 gets a stylish glow-up. It features a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen with 1500 nits of brightness and a variety of strap finishes like rose gold and pearl white. This generation adds AI-powered swim stroke detection, sleep coaching, and the ability to control other Xiaomi devices including electric vehicles. Prices begin at 269 RMB.

Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm — Style, Safety, and Smarts

Tailored for smaller wrists, the new Xiaomi Watch S4 brings a stainless steel frame, new animated fitness pets, and thoughtful health tools like advanced heart rate monitoring and menstrual cycle tracking. It also supports Bluetooth broadcasting for heart rate data and comes with an emergency safety mode.

For those in the Xiaomi ecosystem, it does more than track fitness. It can unlock your EV, sync Do Not Disturb modes, and even help with navigation alerts. Pricing starts at 999 RMB, with options going up to 1,499 RMB depending on the strap material and finish.

Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro — Open-Ear Audio That Doesn’t Leak

If you’re looking for all-day audio without fully sealing off your ears, Xiaomi’s new OpenWear Stereo Pro might be worth checking out. With a five-driver setup including a massive 18×13mm speaker, sound quality gets a serious boost compared to typical open-ear earbuds.

It also features intelligent sound leakage protection so people around you won’t hear your audio unless they’re right next to you. Built-in recording, translation, and app support round it out as a very modern audio tool. It starts at 999 RMB and comes in Black, Silver, and Gold.

Smarter Tech for a More Connected Life

This launch shows Xiaomi doubling down on its vision of an integrated, AI-driven lifestyle. From productivity tools to immersive wearables and stylish smartwatches, the new lineup blends form and function without losing sight of what people actually need day-to-day.

And with many of these new devices designed to work better together, from your tablet to your EV, it’s clear Xiaomi is building more than just gadgets. They’re shaping a smarter way to live.
