Tekken 8’s roster is growing, and kicking off Season 2 is none other than the fan-favorite femme fatale, Anna Williams. Set for release on April 3, 2025, Anna brings her signature mix-up-heavy playstyle and a fresh yet familiar look to the latest installment of the legendary fighting game series.
Tekken 8 Season 2 Arrives April 1
Mark your calendars—Season 2 of Tekken 8 officially begins on April 1, 2025. Along with balance changes and new content, the update will introduce four new characters and two additional stages. With Anna leading the charge, three more fighters remain a mystery, sparking speculation among fans.
Anna’s New Look and Playstyle

Anna has always been known for her deadly mix-ups and deceptive movement, and her Tekken 8 iteration stays true to that identity. While she sports an updated look, her classic red color scheme remains intact. Gameplay-wise, she retains her stance-based aggression, blending returning moves from Tekken 7 with new options to keep opponents on edge.

One of the most interesting additions is her rocket launcher, Tom, which is now a more integral part of her kit rather than just appearing in cinematic moments like her Rage Art. Fans of her previous outfits will also be pleased to know that one of her alternate costumes includes her Tekken 7 look.

Who Else Could Join the Roster?
With Anna now revealed, three more characters are yet to be announced for Tekken 8’s second season. While Bandai Namco has kept details under wraps, here are some strong possibilities:
- An Original Character – One of the remaining three is likely to be a completely new addition to the Tekken universe, rather than another guest character like Clive from Final Fantasy XVI in Season 1.
- Fahkumram – Introduced in Tekken 7, this towering Muay Thai fighter became popular for his devastating offense and intimidating presence. Given his late arrival in the previous game, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make the jump to Tekken 8.
- Kazumi Mishima – This one is more of a long shot, but Tekken 8 could use a character with fundamentals-focused gameplay, making Kazumi a great candidate. She was a straightforward yet effective fighter in Tekken 7, and while her lore status makes her return unlikely, it would be exciting to see her back.
Are You Ready for Anna Williams and Season 2?

The return of Anna Williams is sure to shake up the competition, and with three more characters on the way, there’s plenty to look forward to. What do you think of Anna’s new design and gameplay? Who do you hope will be added next? Let us know!
