The undead have officially invaded the battlegrounds. PUBG MOBILE has teamed up with Techland’s Dying Light: The Beast for a limited-time crossover that merges battle royale action with survival horror mayhem. The collaboration runs from October 16 to November 4, bringing an entirely new layer of chaos to Livik, Erangel, and beyond.

Players can now take on terrifying new enemies — the Biter, Viral, and Charger — in the new Castor Woods area. Each monster offers a unique challenge: Biters attack in swarms, Virals are fast and relentless, and Chargers hit hard with devastating tackle and charge attacks. Those who clear the area will unlock a safe zone filled with exclusive loot, including the Baseball Bat and the Genome Synthetic Booster syringe, which activates Beast Mode — boosting mobility, defense, and granting access to the powerful Aerial Smash attack.
More Zombies, More Modes
The crossover extends into Metro Royale, where the syringe becomes a sellable item after extraction, adding a new twist to high-stakes runs. And starting October 20, the collaboration expands to WOW Mode, which introduces five zombie types — including three Biter variants — and a Dying Light–themed map. This update builds on PUBG MOBILE’s World of Wonder 1.0, empowering players to design their own custom survival experiences.
Exclusive Crossover Rewards
Players who take part in the themed event until November 4 can unlock limited-time rewards like the Dying Light: The Beast Avatar, Avatar Frame, and Set featuring Kyle Crane’s iconic outfit.
Meanwhile, over in Dying Light: The Beast, players can also look forward to crossover content of their own, including a new side quest, open-world activities, and themed rewards like PUBG MOBILE–branded outfits, vehicle skins, and weapons.
Two Worlds Collide
According to Tymon Smektała, Dying Light Franchise Director, the crossover is a celebration of survival gaming at its finest. “Working with PUBG MOBILE was an absolute delight as it brings two iconic survival-focused franchises together,” he shared.
Vincent Wang, Head of PUBG MOBILE Publishing at Tencent Games, added that the event delivers an unforgettable experience for players. “Facing off against the undead and embracing the power of the Beast enhances players’ battles in a really exciting way,” Wang said.
From zombie-infested firefights to adrenaline-fueled Beast Mode battles, this crossover offers the perfect Halloween adventure for PUBG MOBILE fans.
