Treyarch has revealed an exciting crossover event between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and The Terminator for Season 2. Additionally, players will be able to purchase new operator skins inspired by the original The Terminator film after the second season kicks off.
What’s New?
Season 2 of Black Ops 6 is set to launch this Tuesday on January 28. The new season brings with it a plethora of new content for both multiplayer and Zombies modes. Gamers can look forward to new weapons, gear, five fresh maps, and various game modes (New and returning). They mentioned that there’s more content to look forward to throughout the season, which is anticipated to extend well into March 2025. New weapons, weapon blueprints, and Mods for Season 2 can be acquired through new limited-time events such as Shadow Hunt, St. Patrick’s Day: Clover Craze, and the exciting Terminator crossover event.
New Maps and Modes!
Joining the launch of season 2 are five new multiplayer maps: Bounty, Dealership, Lifeline, Bullet, and Grind. The trailer provided a glimpse of Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline. From what we can tell, Lifeline resembles a more condensed version of the popular MP Hijacked map from Black Ops 2 and Dealership is located in a car dealership showroom. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about Bounty with its location unknown.
Aside from the new maps, everyone’s favorite Gun Mode is back! We sure can’t wait to head back into the game for mindless shoot outs.
More Operators and Weapons??
Zombies receives its fair share of love this season of Black Ops 6 with a new map as well. The Tomb will hit servers at launch and we got teases for new weapons. There’s a new operator hinted at as well that uses dual Katanas!
Obviously, there’s going to be more content and a new battlepass for this season. They also showcased new store options and skins. Access over 110 pieces of unlockable content led by the new assassin Operator Nocturne alongside new Operator Skins, weapons, Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, Emotes, and more.
